Sunset Cliffs Elopement | Courtney + Devon | Cori Taylor Photography

I shot Courtney & Devon's engagement photos in Carlsbad earlier this summer and when Courtney reached out to me to shoot their SD elopement, I think I literally screamed with excitement and yelled (through text) OMG YES!!!! Their Sunset Cliffs elopement was literally what my dreams are made of. They had only their closest family & friends there to support and celebrate with them on this special November day. (Yes that's right I said November... this is November in SoCal. We really are so lucky!!) It was the most gorgeous day and the love from their 18 guests was so present you could feel it in your soul by just being there.

Their first look had me teary eyed as Devon got to lay eyes on his bride for the first time. The ceremony was filled with sunshine, laughter, the spray of the ocean as the waves slammed into the cliffs below and some of the most heartfelt vows ever spoken. These two were made for each other and knew it from the moment they met.

To top it off, after the amazing ceremony, everyone helped in decorating Courtney's grandma's 1969 Volkswagen Bug as their getaway car, then they literally drove off into the golden sunset! Like WHAT???? It was an actual real life fairy tale and I could not believe I was able to be a part of such a special, magical day!!!
